KEYA WAGHMARE & SWARNIM SETHI
Co-Founders of The Khojbeen
The Khojbeen is a news initiative started by two college students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. Keya and Swarnim first met as copy editors for their college newspaper where their shared curiosity for stories, headlines, and they instantly hit it off. What began as late-night edits and shared ideas soon turned into something bigger: a vision to make journalism more independent, expressive, and alive. That’s exactly how The Khojbeen came to be; a space where perspectives are fresh, voices are balanced, and news isn’t just read, but felt. For us, journalism isn’t black and white. It’s thoughtful, opinionated, and full of colour.
